TintFX has applied ColourFX coloured film (pure red) on 10mm Toughened Crystal glass supplied by ASG Safety Glass for Ribs & Rumps Restaurant in Homebush to add vibrant colours to their kitchen.

There were 2 options how to achieve client’s satisfaction:
- 10mm toughened Crystal (supplied by ASG) with TintFX’s ColourFX coloured film. This type of glass cost $90/m² and the film cost $90/m² which comes to $180/m² in total. TintFX is having 16 different types of ColourFX that can be used on glass. The melting point for this type of film is around 260-265°C and the glue damage is around 80 - 90°C. The film can be damaged when direct heat is less that 80mm far from the glass. Everything situated 80mm from the glass is safe.This type of film can be applied on glass easily and quickly, which gives client flexibility.
- By using laminated 10.38mm painted coloured PVB intergraded where the cost is around $400/m² and the price also varies on colour. Time of production is around 6-8 weeks which is much longer than the option 1. This type of glass is more likely susceptible to thermal cracking.
